Some of our team members have been at the practice for 15-20 years, which means they know a thing or two about running a dental office! Thanks to our staff, your appointments will flow seamlessly from check-in to checkout, all your questions will be answered, and even discussing your payment options will be 100% stress-free. After your first appointment, you’ll feel like you’re visiting old friends whenever you come to see us, but first, you can start getting to know everyone below.
Cindy Office Manager
Cindy’s career in the dental field spans well over two full decades, with most of that time spent right here at LS Smiles. She attended Eastfield College and is also certified through the Scheduling Institute and Smart Training. What she enjoys most about her job is getting to know the patients so well over time.
Originally from Mesquite, Cindy has a daughter who is currently attending Texas Tech and a son who is studying automotive mechanics at UTI. Her husband works as a massage therapist. When she isn’t busy at work, her favorite hobbies include spending quality time with her family, reading books, and traveling. Her favorite vacation spot so far is Costa Rica!
Kari Treatment Coordinator
Kari is a Rockwall native, and she’s been working at the practice for over 20 years so far. She attended Texas A&M Commerce and has a teaching degree in addition to her RDA status. Her favorite part of being a treatment coordinator is an easy answer – the patients!
Kari and her husband Mike have two teenagers who are currently in college. Most of her free time away from the dental office is taken up by their busy schedules. Other hobbies include enjoying the outdoors and hanging out with their family’s various pets. They even have a chinchilla!
Elizabeth Front Treatment Coordinator/ Insurance
Elizabeth joined us in 2024, and she brings over 20 years of experience to our practice! She says she feels fortunate to work with such an amazing team that makes it easy for her to give our patients the best service possible. She is a trained dental assistant and has her Expanded Functions certification.
Elizabeth has been married for over 25 years, and she likes to relax by painting, trying new foods, and gardening (she’s a natural with a green thumb).
Kaylee Lead Dental Assistant
Kaylee loves giving a patient a smile makeover that fully restores their confidence. She says it’s amazing getting to spend so much time with the people we care for because she truly gets to know everyone beyond their teeth. She was trained at ATI and has certifications in nitrous oxide sedation, Invisalign, and using the Trios digital scanner.
Kaylee and her husband have been together for over 15 years, and they have a family landscaping business that they run with the help of their adult son. A professed introvert and homebody, you’ll typically find Kaylee spending quality time at home on the couch with her dogs, Cookie and Emmie.
Kim Dental Assistant
Kim has been a part of the dental world for over 25 years, and she says it’s the people who keep her fulfilled and motivated, referring to both our patients as well as her fellow team members. On top of her decades of real-world knowledge, she has advanced training in Invisalign, the Trios digital scanner, and laser dentistry.
Originally from Omaha, NE, she and her husband have one adult son as well as an adorable granddaughter. Crafting, woodworking, and watching Cornhusker and Cowboy’s games are her favorite ways to spend her weekends.
Amy Dental Assistant
Amy says that the best part of her job is helping patients feel comfortable while improving their oral health. She attended Dallas Community College before doing her dental assistant training at Carrington College.
Amy is kept busy by her daughter, two cats, and several chickens that are always entertaining. Otherwise, she enjoys coloring, painting, crafting, and playing Nintendo games.
Rebecca Dental Hygienist
Rebecca thoroughly enjoys meeting each patient and discussing and identifying the dental concerns that are important to them. She is very grateful to work alongside such knowledgeable and empathetic dentists who listen to our patients and give them options that work best for them. She began her career as a dental assistant and office manager before eventually graduating from the Howard College Dental Hygiene Program.
Rebecca and her husband are proudly from alien country, aka Roswell, NM, and they have two daughters and one son. When she isn’t making memories with her family, she likes to volunteer, whether it’s at her son’s school, in church, or for local community projects.
Jade Dental Hygienist
Jade finds a lot of satisfaction in building rapport with our patients while educating them on their oral health, helping them feel empowered after each appointment. She has her bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from East Tennessee State University.
Jade lives in Rockwall County with the love of her life and their two adopted kitties, and her hobbies include working out, enjoying the outdoors, and (ideally) traveling the world.
